A four-bedroom home carefully set into a sloping riverside block in Ashby. The design uses a light steel primary frame paired with a concrete tilt-up service core to keep the northern elevation open to the water while stiffening the western fire zone. Documentation covered full council submission, energy efficiency certification and a coordinated structural package for the builder. Solar passive principles drove the roof pitch and overhang depths; north-facing glazing is shaded to Australian standard 2047.
